Study Program Vision

To become a reliable and internationally recognized Master’s Program in Petroleum Engineering while adhering to local values ​​in developing petroleum science and technology.

To achieve the VMTS (Vocational Standard) for the Master of Petroleum Engineering Study Program, the following strategies are implemented:

  1. Increasing collaboration with external agencies, including industry, educational institutions, and government agencies, both within and outside the university.
  2. Improving the quality of the teaching and learning process and a conducive academic climate.
  3. Improve the quality and quantity of research and publications through international journals and seminars.
  4. Create a coaching program for lecturers and support staff with workshop and certification activities.
  5. Provide facilities and infrastructure to support activities.
    Implementing multimedia and internet-based information system designs.
  6. Increase guest lectures from state universities and industry.
    Equipping graduates with expertise in petroleum software programming.
  7. Perfecting the curriculum to always follow the needs of graduate users.
  8. Carrying out PKM collaboration to implement IPTEKSEN in the field for the community while simultaneously implementing the two pillars of higher education.

The educational objective of the Petroleum Engineering Master’s Study Program is to implement the application, development, innovation, and discovery of Petroleum Science and Technology, Geothermal, Non-Conventional Energy, Renewable Energy, and to increase sensitivity to energy independence and social issues in a sustainable manner in solving energy security problems.

The objective of the Petroleum Engineering Master’s Program is to become a reliable and internationally standardized Petroleum Engineering Master’s Program while still paying attention to local values ​​in developing science and technology for managing oil and gas fields to increase added value and environmental quality.

The specific educational objectives of the MTP study program are:

  1. To enhance the role of the Petroleum Engineering Master’s Program in producing human resources in oil and gas field management who possess intellectual capabilities, international standards, and the Trikrama character of Trisakti University through educational and teaching activities.
  2. Increase research activities to develop science and technology in the field of oil and gas field management based on local values ​​to address national problems by increasing added value and the environment.
  3. Increasing the role of the Petroleum Engineering Masters Study Program in the field of oil and gas field management in supporting the needs of society and industry through community service activities.
  4. Increasing the commitment of the Petroleum Engineering Masters Study Program in upholding good department governance.
