Welcome to the Trisakti University Petroleum Engineering Master’s Study Program Website. This website is the official media for the entire community and the wider community which provides information on all activities that have been, are being, and will be carried out by the Study Program.

This Study Program is the second Petroleum Engineering Master’s Study Program established in Indonesia, namely in 2009 and is located in Jakarta, based on Chancellor’s Decree No. 240/USAKTI/SKR/2009. The quality and reputation of this study program continues to increase from time to time. This is proven by the increase in PT BAN Accreditation status. In 2013, the Petroleum Engineering Master’s Study Program received Accreditation Quality C with a score of 277 based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education No. 218/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-XI/M/X/2013. Then in 2015 the Petroleum Engineering Master’s Study Program received Accreditation Quality B with a score of 310 based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education No. 1263/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/XII/2015. Furthermore, in 2020 the Study Program received Accreditation Quality B with a score of 344 based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education No. 7678/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/XI/2020. In 2023, the study program will receive an EXCELLENT accreditation rating based on LAMTEKNIK Decree No. 0039/SK/LAMTeknik/AM/IV/2023. In 2025 the study program received a SUPERIOR accreditation assessment based on LAMTEKNIK Decree No.0600/SK/LAMTeknik/AM/VIII/2025.

The Master of Petroleum Engineering Study Program at Trisakti University, which is located in the capital of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, has a vision and mission to become a leading Master of Petroleum Engineering Study Program and a center of excellence in the development of science and technology, especially the management of oil and gas and geothermal fields for the welfare of the nation and sustainable environmental sustainability. This study program combines the KKNI (Indonesian National Qualifications Framework) and OBE (Outcome-Based Education) curricula which are dynamic and progressive following technological and industrial developments. Apart from that, this study program has implemented artificial intelligence modeling into its curriculum to navigate the industrial era 4.0. In its implementation, this study program applies a hybrid model of academic activities supported by lecturers who are professional and experienced in their fields, both as academics and as practitioners with the motto “On Time Program for Thesis”.
