Teaching System

The teaching process in the Master of Petroleum Engineering program has an Additional Criteria Indicator for the Master of Petroleum Engineering program in the form of a TOEFL score of 500 as a graduation requirement. Adjusting the new student admission system from a manual process to an online system through SPMB has increased the number of prospective students interested.

The current development of information technology is a supportive environment for the teaching and learning process. Blended learning helps students and lecturers teach more efficiently. From the 2020/2021 academic year to the 2023/2024 academic year, the Master of Petroleum Engineering Study Program has implemented blended learning, where e-learning is conducted using Zoom and PPT. This began with the government’s decision to implement online lectures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Master of Petroleum Engineering Study Program has also held online seminars. In 2022, hybrid online and offline lectures will continue to be developed. The use of a learning management system (LMS) has also been implemented to address the challenges of more complete e-learning. This represents a breakthrough for developing learning and increasing the interest of prospective new students.

Documentation of the learning process consists of:
Documentation of lecturer and student attendance and lecture minutes

● Documentation of monitoring and evaluation recordings of the learning process

● Complete documentation of evaluation results and improvement cycles.
